Our Vision

As a growing, multi-generational community of Christians, we are called to faithful obedience and holy living; we offer our hearts and lives to do God's work in our world. We dedicate ourselves to worship God joyfully, proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and transform lives and culture by the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to become like Jesus Christ in all we think, say, and do.

Our Values

As followers of Jesus Christ,

living in this world -

which some seek to control,

but which others view with despair -

we declare with joy an trust:

Our world belongs to God!

A Contemporary Testimony, Stanza I

The Bible is our foundation

We place all of our worship, life and mission under the will of God as revealed in the Bible. Our understanding of the Bible is reflected in and informed by the Reformed creeds and confessions. We are constantly challenged to be reshaped as the Holy Spirit leads us to a right understanding of God's Word.

Prayer is our way of life

We choose to have prayer pervade our individual and congregational lives. In our worship, Sunday School, small groups, business meetings, prayer groups, and personal and family devotions, we talk with God and seek his power and guidance.

Our church expresses our unity in Christ

We strive to reflect the love of Jesus in a believing community of many ages, abilities, cultures and economic levels. We are patient and honest with each other, seeking to show the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. We practice mutual encourage and care-giving. We value our children and young people as partners in ministry. We welcome and enfold newcomers and help broken people find hope and healing.

Our world needs transformation

In word and deed we reach out to those who are not yet part of God's family to lead them to salvation in Jesus Christ. We do this locally and through the worldwide ministries of God's people. As God's covenant partners, we also seek to extend his kingdom to the structures of our society and culture which are estranged from God. We go into our community and workplaces, science and art, education and government, media and the marketplace, intent on making a difference as citizens of the kingdom.

Church and kingdom building require our commitment

We challenge our members with high expectations regarding worship, continuing Christian education, stewardship of time and resources, evangelism, discipleship and service. We want to be a community characterized by spiritual growth and accountability. We identify and use the gifts God has given us to build up the body of Christ. We are committed to nurture faith in our children and raise up a new generation of Christian leaders.

God demands our best

Our passion is to glorify God in all we do. To this end, we offer God the first fruits of all our efforts. In our worship, life, and mission, we respond with the creativity and excellence of God's image-bearers.
