Childrens Ministries

Calvinist Cadets

The Calvinist Cadet Corps is an independent (non-denominational) youth ministry organization whose purpose is to provide the local church with a ministry program that will enable them to effectively share Christ's love with boys from their church and community. Founded in 1952, the Corps has more than 600 clubs throughout North America. We encourage any evangelical Bible believing church to consider using our ministry programs. The organization uses the title "Calvinist" to honor the Protestant reformer, John Calvin, who devoted his life to the religious education of God's children.

GEMS is rooted in a deep tradition of faith. Since 1958, God has been using GEMS to impact the lives of countless women and girls, teaching them what it means to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him.

Today, the ministry serves more than 24,000 girls as well as the 5,300 women who mentor them. And, for the first time ever, GEMS has over 900 active clubs!

GEMS is a non-denominational ministry with clubs established in several different denominations and non-denominational churches and Christian organizations. A partnership agreement exists between GEMS Girls' Clubs and the Christian Reformed Church, and curriculum is developed from a reformed perspective.
