Youth Education

Grades 9 & 10

We will use the Bible, the Heidelberg Catechism (a summary of what we believe) and other materials as we endeavor to know God and His will for our lives. This study is a means to an end, the end being a deeper, more intimate and joyful relationship with our Triune God. Come prepared to learn and to teach.
Teacher: Jantina Cornelison

Grades 11 & 12

The 11th and 12th grade class will be studying from 3 books. The first, Which Way to God? Gives students a better understanding of the major religions of our world (Islam, Judaism, Hinduism,
Buddhism) and how those beliefs compare to our own. What's Up With The Church Down The Street? looks at 10 Christian faith traditions which will help us better articulate our own faith from a Reformed standpoint. The last book, Stuff To Know When Cults Come Knocking is a study to help teens understand what cults are, what specific cults believe, and how to respond.
Teachers: Tony and Mary Ann LaPolla
