The Rochester Christian Reformed Church is a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church of North America. We are a congregation in the Reformed tradition and our preaching and teaching reflect Reformed theology. In addition to affirming the historic and ecumenical creeds (Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and the Chalcedonian definitions related to the person of Christ), we also affirm the following three Reformed confessional documents known as the "Three Forms of Unity":
- The Heidelberg Catechism -https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/confessions/heidelberg-catechism
- The Belgic Confession - https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/confessions/belgic-confession
- The Canons of Dort - https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/confessions/canons-dort
In addition to these confessional statements, our denomination has also prepared position statements on a variety of important issues. These position statements may be found here: https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/position-statements
